Who We Are
The Muslim Reverts Worldwide Forum – (MRWF) is a global Islamic institution and a structured community established to uphold, preserve, and transmit authentic Islam with clarity, responsibility, and mercy.
MRWF exists as a trust — a trust to Allah first, and then to the Ummah. Our identity is not shaped by trends, movements, or personalities. It is shaped by revelation and guided by the understanding of the Salaf-us-Saliheen.
“Then We put you upon a clear way of the command. So follow it, and do not follow the desires of those who do not know.”
Qur’an 45:18MRWF exists upon that clear way — seeking to protect faith, nurture certainty, and provide grounded guidance in a time of confusion.

Dr. Abdul Wahid Yusuf
The Muslim Reverts Worldwide Forum (MRWF) was founded by Dr. Abdul Wahid Yusuf, whose vision was to establish a global platform dedicated to guiding, supporting, and empowering new and returning Muslims through authentic knowledge, structured support, and responsible Da’wah. His leadership is rooted in clarity, unity, and long-term stewardship grounded in the Qur’an and the Sunnah as understood by the Salaf as Saliheen.
An Institution Built on Revelation
MRWF is not a cultural platform, a motivational space, or a social trend. It is a structured Islamic institution grounded firmly in the Qur’an and the authentic Sunnah, understood and practiced as they were by the earliest generations of this Ummah.
The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said:
“The best of people are my generation, then those who follow them, then those who follow them.”
Sahih al-Bukhari and Sahih MuslimOur methodology, language, and direction are consciously aligned with this prophetic guidance. We do not innovate new paths. We revive clarity upon the original path.
Rooted in Clarity, Not Confusion
Islam was revealed as guidance, not ambiguity.
Allah says:
“Indeed, this Qur’an guides to that which is most upright.”
Qur’an 17:9MRWF exists to protect that upright guidance from distortion, dilution, and confusion. We distinguish clearly between revelation and culture, between authentic knowledge and inherited practice, between evidence and opinion.
This clarity is not harshness. It is mercy.
“The latter part of this Ummah will not be rectified except by that which rectified its first part.”
Imam Malik RahimahullahMRWF stands firmly upon this principle.
A Structured, Disciplined Identity
MRWF is not informal by design. Structure is part of our identity.
“Indeed, Allah loves those who fight in His cause in rows as though they are a single, solid structure.”
Qur’an 61:4Structure preserves knowledge. Discipline protects sincerity. Order safeguards continuity.
MRWF is built with intention, governance, accountability, and responsibility so that Islamic guidance is not lost, fragmented, or dependent on individuals.
A Community Bound by Faith, Not Personality
MRWF is a community, but not one built around charisma or personalities.
“Whoever calls to guidance will have a reward like the reward of those who follow him, without that diminishing their rewards in any way.”
Sahih MuslimOur identity is not about who speaks the loudest, but about what is transmitted faithfully. We center Islam, not ourselves.
The message is greater than the messenger.
A Trust of Knowledge and Care
MRWF understands knowledge as an amanah.
“Indeed, We offered the trust to the heavens and the earth and the mountains, but they declined to bear it and feared it; and man undertook to bear it.”
Qur’an 33:72Knowledge must be conveyed with care, accuracy, patience, and humility. MRWF exists to ensure that Islamic knowledge is shared responsibly, without distortion, exaggeration, or negligence.
A Global Identity with a Unified Compass
MRWF is global in reach but unified in principle.
Islam does not belong to a culture, a nation, or a language. It belongs to Allah.
“And We have not sent you except as a mercy to the worlds.”
Qur’an 21:107MRWF reflects this universality. Our identity transcends geography while remaining firmly anchored to the same sources, the same methodology, and the same creed.
Guided by Scholarship, Not Emotion
MRWF respects scholarship and defers to knowledge.
“When Allah wishes good for someone, He grants him understanding of the religion.”
Sahih al-Bukhari and Sahih MuslimWe recognize scholars as inheritors of the prophetic legacy and value their role in preserving the religion with precision and restraint.
Emotion does not define truth. Evidence does.
Our Identity in One Sentence
MRWF is a global Islamic institution and community, grounded in the Qur’an and authentic Sunnah upon the understanding of the Salaf-us-Saliheen, established to preserve clarity, structure, and responsibility in the transmission of Islam.
MRWF is not perfect, but it is principled.
Not loud, but grounded.
Not reactionary, but rooted.
“And whoever holds firmly to Allah has indeed been guided to a straight path.”
Qur’an 3:101This is who we are.
