Appendix – The Bible’s Path To Islam
Appendix
The Bible’s Path to Islam
A Journey of Revelation

Methodology Overview

Objective: To present how the Bible’s enduring moral core and prophetic witness point to Islam, while the Qur’an confirms and protects previous revelation.

Approach: Primary sources first — Qur’an and authentic Sunnah — read in light of classical Tafsir. Biblical citations are used to show continuity and contrast where human alteration is evident.

Style: Transliterations avoid diacritics; Qur’an verses appear in Arabic alongside translation; honorifics include ﷺ for Prophet Muhammad, Radiyallahu anhu/anha for companions, and Rahimahullah for scholars.

B. Citation Conventions

  • Qur’an: Surah:Ayah (e.g., 5:48). Spelled exactly as Qur’an.
  • Hadith: Collection name and number where possible (e.g., Sahih al Bukhari).
  • Bible: Book Chapter:Verse (e.g., Deuteronomy 18:18).
  • Classical Works: Common print sets or known editions for accessibility.

We have revealed to you the Book in truth, confirming the Scripture before it and as a guardian over it. (Qur’an 5:48)
إِنَّا نَحْنُ نَزَّلْنَا الذِّكْرَ وَإِنَّا لَهُ لَحَافِظُونَ
